Your Responsibilities

The ADM Finance team plays a key role in the success of the business, providing management and stakeholders with high-quality, accurate, and timely financial information and analysis for both business support and development and external reporting requirements. To successfully deliver a world class service to the business, ADM seeks high caliber team players able to gain the depth and breadth of skills across different cultures in a progressive training program designed to equip you with the skills and experience required to become a first-class finance professional.

As program participant, you will gain experience in an international environment within our Global Business Services, our Centers of Excellence and Business Unit finance teams. As Finance Trainee, you will have exposure to senior finance leaders in ADM.

  • During the program, starting January 2023, you will spend two and a half years in different finance functions. You will be hired in Poznan, Poland or Hamburg, Germany and will at least have 1 assignment to an ADM location in Europe. You will work closely with our highly skilled and experienced finance management professionals during your rotations. Our finance functions include the following: Controlling and Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Statutory Accounting, Treasury, Credit and Tax. You will be rotate to each function for 6 months. The practical training of this program together with getting professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/CIMA) funded by ADM, will help you achieve your personal career aspirations. The program offers you prospects for an international career and the chance to play an important role in the ADM finance organization.
  • After successfully completing our EMEA Finance Trainee program, you are ready to take on a challenging role in the ADM finance function you will be assigned to.

Our Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or higher), ideally in finance, business, mathematical science, engineering or related discipline with a genuine interest for the agricultural industry Fluent in English (spoken and written), an additional European language (German, French, Polish) is an advantage Internationally mobile (Europe-wide to start) Highly motivated to develop a finance career in an international environment Strong interest to learn all aspects of finance, accounting and tax Proven ability to communicate confidently and effectively Aptitude for analysis and numbers Demonstrated capacity to handle a diverse number of projects simultaneously Strong ability to solve problems and act as a team player Microsoft Office Skills (Excel data tables, pivots, lookups, Access, PowerPoint) and interests in diverse Information Technology A valid EU work permit
