HI response to the conflict and its regional impact
HI has deployed two teams in the region, with one team deploying to Ukraine and a second team leading an assessment in neighbouring countries receiving refugees. The main objectives will be to assess more deeply the current context & environment, identify potential operational partners, meet with key relevant stakeholders on the ground and asses the overall needs of the population, and requirement to start operations. HI is therefore preparing to be able to deploy quickly a large-scale multi sectoral humanitarian response.
Description :
Under the responsibility of the area manager/emergency pool manager and in close coordination with the HQ Financial Controller and HR referent, the Finance and HR manager will be in charge of :
- Participate to initial diagnosis of the emergency response operations following the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine
- Under the supervision of the emergency area manager or program director/country manager, lead and coordinate administrative, financial and human resources support in the framework of new program or area/project opening following a disaster, in accordance with Humanity & Inclusion´s rules and standards and those of its donors;
- Represent and promote Humanity & Inclusion´s mandate in the framework of the emergency responses in your field of expertise;
- Contribute to the institutional capitalization and participate in the development and update of Humanity & Inclusion´s emergency methodologies, procedures, tools and trainings;
- Participate to the financial management of the mission
Profil recherché :
• Masters degree in Finance Management, or Business Administration
• With 3 years experiences in finance field with increasingly higher levels of responsibility, you have already been in successful in management of teams in the humanitarian sector
• You have:
– An experience setting up systems and procedures in new structures.
– Capacity building skills and know how to develop capacity-building techniques.
– A proven expertise in financial management and institutional funding

• 6 month (renewable) International contract starting February 2023
• The international contract provides social cover adapted to your situation:
o Unemployment insurance benefits for EU nationals
o Pension scheme: is compulsory. If you are a French or Belgian national you benefit from the public system. HI will contribute for you to CFE and APICIL/AGIRA (French) or OSSOM (Belgian).
For other nationalities, a private personal pension savings plan in your name with AXA, HI will pay into this account employee and employer contributions of 7.95% of your gross pay.
o Medical coverage with 50% of employee contribution
• Repatriation insurance paid by HI
• Salary from 2757 € gross/month upon experience
• Perdiem: 527€ / month paid on the field
• Hardship: 500 € / month paid with the salary
• Paid leaves: 25 days per year;
• R&R every 8 weeks

• Payment for travel costs (air ticket & visa) and transport of your personal effects (from 12 months of mission)
