We’re looking for an experienced Finance Lead to join our client’s team based out of Carmel, IN

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Global Controller, this position will be part of a group of finance professionals, who nurture a team focused environment and balance it with an environment where we encourage you to bring your ideas to the table, and try new things. You will be responsible for assisting with various financial activities. Your day is filled with variety as you will be wearing multiple hats: managing payroll, month end reporting procedures, customer invoicing, bills and payments, and ownership of data integrity.

Please note that this role involves working closely with the Accounting team in the US and India. You will learn the business, own your portion of the work, and pitch in when necessary, being an integral part of their amazing finance team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct full cycle accounting in A/R (Collections, invoicing, cheque deposits, bank reconciliations) and A/P (vendor payments, credit card reconciliations)
  • Manage payroll including employee payments and other payroll related compliances
  • Complete year-end preparation
  • Month end reconciliations and accruals
  • Month over month variance analysis
  • Budget Generation
  • Coordination with external auditors and Tax authorities
  • Improve financial operations, accounting controls, and cost controls to streamline processes and reduce our bottom line.
  • Control and tracking of business contracts, terms and milestones
  • Lead and mentor our Accounting Assistant
  • Assist on US transfer pricing

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle accounting. US and Canadian experience are preferred.
  • Previous experience with QuickBooks, ADP or similar accounting software required
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Knowledge of various types of benefit and compensation programs
  • Strong data entry skills with high competencies in MS Word and Excel (& Macros)
  • To be well organized with superior accuracy, attention to detail an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Great detail orientation with good communication skills – verbal and written
  • Computer savviness and proficiency in Excel
  • Completion of CPA and post secondary education preferred
