Position Title: Finance Intern (MHD)

Duration of Assignment: maximum of 500 hours
Context
Under the overall supervision of the Finance and Administrative Officer, and under the direct supervision of the Sr. Administrative and Finance Assistant, the intern will assist with the financial monitoring/reporting and administrative tasks and activities of the MHD Finance unit.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Education
- Enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Management Accounting, or related field with not more than two years of relevant professional experience from an accredited academic institution.
Experience:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Outlook; previous experience in SAP is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent organization and analytical skills, attention to details, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Prior exposure with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
