The Opportunity

Save the Children is seeking for intern applicants for a Finance Intern post in Istanbul. The PDQ Intern will report to the Finance & IT manager with support from Senior Finance Officers in coordinating day-to-day tasks. S/he will provide varied and complex assistance to the Country Office Finance Department.

In order to be successful you will bring/have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Economics, Business or related departments;
  • Preferably previous working experience (including paid internships) in NGOs, private sector.
  • Good attention to details and to be able to work under stress;
  • Computer literate (including working knowledge of Microsoft Office) and ability to do internet based research
  • Strong organisational skills and discretion with confidential information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Turkish
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Proven ability to handle challenging work load
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Preferably good verbal and written communication skills in English
