Based in our Head office at Macquarie Park, The Finance Business Partner will provide financial support and expertise to the Goodman Fielder Markets by focusing on the development and implementation of efficient reporting processes and management reports, provision of business advice in addition to discovering data insights utilising advanced business intelligence tools.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Preparation of Market Reporting Packs (Month end, forecast S&OP cycles, budget)
  • Understanding of key cost drivers, revenue drivers and variances versus plan/forecast
  • Understanding of key cost drivers in Indirect and DME expenditure
  • Design and development of business reporting requirements including Business Objects reporting
  • capabilities
  • Documentation and improvement of reporting processes
  • End-to-End process management of forecast and budget compilation including stakeholder communication (incl. establishment, distribution and reconciliation of required process templates)
  • Coordination of monthly DME and SG&A/indirects forecasts
  • Consolidation of various categories and updating of reporting systems and reports
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in developing progressive data modelling & visualisation platforms to unlock business growth opportunities
  • Pursue opportunities to improve month end process through better utilisation of GF systems (Promax, IBP, SAP, BPC, etc.)
  • Develop improvements in reporting including accessibility of reports and information
  • Improving master data governance including management of reporting hierarchies as well as process

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need

  • CA or CPA Qualification desirable
  • Min. 3 years finance/business experience or experience in a similar role – FMCG experience desirable
  • Advanced skills in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Microsoft Power Query, Power Pivot, Tableau
  • Strong background in developing complex dynamic data model driven reports / dashboards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level attention to detail
  • The ability to work under pressure and a commitment to meeting deadlines
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
