What will the role involve?
- Producing and explaining weekly KPI’s and variances;
- Production of monthly management accounts including journals for accruals, prepayments;
- Support in the production of annual budgets and forecasts;
- Challenge the management team on costs and practices to drive efficiencies;
- Investigate and resolve any information requests on a timely basis;
- Review capital/investment and efficiency projects to enable decision making;
- Improving controls around stocks, processes;
- Produce balance sheet reconciliations;
- Observe and review of periodic stocktakes, results and setting targeted reductions;
- Assist the Finance team with other ad hoc projects as required.
Suitable Candidate
- Ideally full or part qualified CIMA/ACCA;
- Excellent numeracy and problem solving skills;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels, with the ability to influence others;
- Advanced Excel skills is essential.
