Save the Children
ROLE PURPOSE
A member of the Program Office Finance Team responsible for ensuring compliance with SCI finance policies and procedures, standards, and local laws and regulations. The FA ensures internal control by thorough review and monitoring of financial transactions and documents to safeguard SCI resources
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred but not required
* Has work experience in finance with at least 1 year in NGO settings
* Experience in the use of accounting packages
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multi-task and work on tight deadlines
* High sense of urgency and well-developed work ethic
* Understanding of Save the Children vision and mission and commitment to its objectives
* Willing to adopt Save the Children methodology and framework in program implementation
* Abide by and implement Save the Children Eight Agency Policies including Child Safety
