The MENA based team is a small unit of experienced banking and investment professionals. A positive professional attitude, teamwork and hands on proactive involvement will be critical for the success of individual, team and function.Responsibilities:Primary support for Saudi Arabia/MLKSA across:Internal and external auditsFinancial Statements AuditClient Money ReviewCapital Adequacy ReviewGOSI/non-GOSI AUPPreparation of Financial Statements, working with APGICAAP production including stress testing & Pillar 3 disclosures, coordinating the Working Group and presenting to Steering GroupLiquidity Risk and Capital Management Policies, and Contingency Funding Plans including testing and monthly cash flow forecastsMonthly Capital Adequacy ReportingCompliance with CMA Prudential RulesWeekly review of Sunday Trading PLMonthly review of Trading PL, including reconciliation to GL, sign offs in BUCS and Bookmap, and proactive resolution of E2A breaksImplementing the finance side of the Saudi CCP Project.Maintenance of Intercompany Service Agreements (SoW/SADB/TPSLA)Month End close Journals in Oracle CloudMonthly commentary on BS and PL variances for both local IFRS reporting and US GAAP for close meetings and MLKSA CEOCoordinating and testing the translation of Books and Records into ArabicVAT, WHT & CIT Compliance including primary support for tax inspections and appeals, and implementing e-Invoicing and Contracts Information FilingQuarterly CORPTAX updates for US GAAP tax provision and DTA.Coordinating BS substantiation, assisting centralized teams by supplying support for their reconciliationsReviewing BS reconciliations in detail including both BANA and local bank account reconciliations, promptly following up breaksCompleting and evidencing controls the monthly Supervisory ReviewAdminister the Saudi Corporate Card programs for joiners and leavers, reviewing the card BS reconciliation and resolving related issuesUpdate and maintain Finance procedures on the Finance SharePointMaintain lists of bank accounts, authorised signatories, authorised representatives and executive officers in BIS.Proactively identify and then close self-identified audit issuesWork within the MENA finance team as a whole to develop knowledge share and provide appropriate levels of coverCore Skills:Qualified accountantA graduate degreeExcellent Excel skills, Alteryx would be advantageous.Proven finance/management accounting experience gained within a regulated financial services institution, preferably within a global investment bankTraining with a major public accounting firm would be an advantageFluency in English is essential, Arabic very advantageousMust have a positive & proactive approach to workMust be able to work well in a teamBank of AmericaEvery day, across the globe, our employees bring a commitment to our purpose and to driving responsible growth by living our values: deliver together, act responsibly, realize the power of our people and trust the team.
