Finance Analyst Fast Track Programme

Location: Flexible across Europe

Manchester, London, Paris, Weybridge, Madrid, Cologne, Warsaw.

We have an amazing opportunity to step into a newly created role within European Finance.

  • Interested in working on multiple rotations, typically 3-6 months in duration?
  • Passionate about “Fast Tracking” your development on an 18-24 month development programme?

We are seeking a Finance Analyst with exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will spend 18-24 months on 3-6 month rotations in different analyst roles throughout the finance function, with a supported development plan. By the end of the program the candidate should have developed the skills and competencies required to be successful in a Finance management role.

Potential Rotations: regional business partnering teams, FP&A, ERA, Pricing or Finance Transformation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner the business to ensure that decisions are made in the best interest of our customers, our organization and our shareholders
  • Articulate clearly and simply, to the whole business, the levers and drivers that can deliver the strategic objectives
  • Identification of strategic business initiatives and actions to drive improvements in functional performance to achieve forecasts and targets
  • Provides business with analytics and insights to create value
  • Ability to combine F,P&A data analytics with business insights to produce accurate budgets and forecasts and clearly measure and communicate performance against these
  • Manage Commercial Finance activities to drive optimum profitability
  • Performs the analytics on post investment reviews and monitoring investments, ensuring corrective action is undertaken where required
  • Supports the development, implementation and application of a globally and regionally consistent commercial policy, through the delivery and use of standard practices and tools
  • Supports the creation and adoption of standard finance tools and processes
  • Provides analytical support on supply chain, operations, transport, plant cost analysis, business case preparation, improvement initiatives, supply chain business case governance and global alignment
  • Provides support for future looking ad-hoc analysis
  • Supervise standard and ad-hoc Finance reporting to efficiently and effectively serve internal customers

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting or in a relevant finance technical discipline
  • Desirable: Master’s Degree (e.g. Finance, Business Administration, Accounting) or certified accountant (e.g. ACA, CIMA, CPA)
  • Finance experience preferably for complex multinational businesses, with Commercial and Supply Chain Finance expertise
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Established financial, commercial and strategic analysis skills
  • Base level financial modeling skills (DCF Analysis, scenario analysis, business case development, business valuations, and operational modelling)
  • Commercial acumen with demonstrated strength in solving both structured and unstructured problems
  • Advanced Word / Excel / PowerPoint skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to enable the effective management of stakeholders
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively to deadlines and without supervision
