Main Responsibilities

• Pass bank payment entries in tally
• Apply the payments against the open invoices
• Prepare the bank documentation for foreign remittances
• Liaise for CA certification
• Liaise with bank for any remittance related query
• Verify employee claims and process the payment
• Upload bank balances on shared drive
• Interco billing and passing entries
• Prepare schedule of prepaid expenses, monthly amortisation
• Liaise with HR and payroll consultant for payroll finalisa
• Ensure timely payment for Meal vouchers (ZETA)
• Verifying F& F of exit employees
• Ensure salary is booked in correct GL heads
• Ensure variable pay is booked in correct GL head
• Ensure payment of PF/PF admin charges and profession tax
• Filling of Profession tax returns
• Provide data for quarterly tds filling
• Equalisation levy payment
• Issue equalisation levy certificates to foreign vendors

Core And Functional Skills And Knowledge

• A Bachelors Degree or higher in Accounting & Finance, Commerce, Business Administration or other relevant fields
• 3-5 years of experience within the field
• Strong proficiency and knowledge of Tax and Compliances
• CA-inter or CA-qualified is a strong plus
