The Role:

Oxfam is looking for a Finance Analyst

In this role, you will be one of the key members of the Financial Reporting Analysis and Planning Team ensuring we provide timely, relevant and reliable financial management information to support budget holders to take better informed decisions on their activities and resource allocation.

You will be assisting the Financial Reporting Manager – Programmes, to provide effective financial management information, insight and analysis to all teams and countries in International Operations. Among other things this will involve consolidating financial information from international operations/Countries, reviewing countries accounting processes and reports (balance sheets, Month end returns, annual financial reports, countries statutory financial reports, guiding and advising countries on technical accounting and supporting year end processes and annual audit.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • Proven accounting and financial management expertise.
  • Ability to analyse and advise on financial systems and processes. High level of computer literacy.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to prioritise conflicting responsibilities and requests for information.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to build strong working relationships.
