EVALUATION SCOPE
The scope should focus on all the outcomes of the project as below:
1. Strengthened health system capacity in Thi-Qar governorate to respond and prepare for climate change-induced health risks.
• Climate-informed and migration-sensitive public health emergency preparedness and response capacities are enhanced at governorate and district levels
2. Vulnerable communities have improved capacity to cope with and adapt to changes in social and environmental conditions induced by climate change.
• Communities and local authorities have increased capacity to respond to climate-related security issues through the mapping of climate-related conflict capacities and vulnerabilities and the identification of conflict resolution mechanisms focused on natural resource management
• Local conflict resolution mechanisms are established and strengthened through the integration of natural resource management mechanisms
3. Conditions in communities in areas affected by adverse effects of climate change and climate-induced displacement in Thi-Qar governorate are improved through community-led planning, strengthened access to livelihoods and rehabilitation of damaged infrastructures
• Communities are identified and community-based planning is conducted
• Community members in Thi-Qar governorate have increased access to basic services through improvement of community infrastructures
• Community members affected by climate-induced displacement have increased access to livelihood opportunities.

How to apply

The interested firm/ consultant should submit a technical proposal with a detailed evaluation methodology, indicative work plan, and the overall approach to the evaluation and an all-inclusive budget proposal no later than 21st December 2023.
