Introduction to the Position:

The Field Project Manager is responsible for all communication and daily CCCM project activities, managing, planning, implementing, and following up the project activities (main regular maintenance, vocational training, small and medium business management training, and grants) in coordination with the project manager, the project field team, support departments, and the main office in Gaziantep, in a way that ensures the achievement of the general project objectives and the highest quality.

Project Location: Idlib governorate

Reporting to: Project coordinator – HQ

Main Tasks:

  1. Developing and organizing a fieldwork plan for the project in coordination with the main office and the line manager.
  2. Work with the project manager daily to develop project work mechanisms and follow up on its activities.
  3. Responsible for field coordination and communication operations.
  4. Directly responsible for implementing and following up on the fieldwork plan and coordinating the work of the field team to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
  5. Supervising the correct documentation of all required papers in coordination with the line manager and with all members of the field team.
  6. Work directly with local authorities, field teams, and stakeholders to support project activities.
  7. Monitor the implementation process of the project activities, ensure that it proceeds according to the schedule and the established work plan, and monitor the quality of work.
  8. Providing support and assistance to problem committees and following up on their activities.
  9. Submit progress field reports.
  10. Coordination with all concerned departments such as financial, media, logistical, and MEAL departments.
  11. Performing and implementing any other duties assigned by the line manager.
  12. Adhere to all point organization policies and abide by administrative orders and disciplinary procedures in the event of any violations.
  13. A pledge to abide by the zero-tolerance policy adopted by the Point organization in cases of sexual exploitation and abuse, and direct reporting in the event of any violation in this regard.

Skills & Experience

  1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing and coordinating humanitarian projects (those with experience managing CCCM projects are preferred).
  2. Experience in project management and PCM project life cycle.
  3. Good in English
  4. Good in report writing in English.
  5. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs**.**
  6. Good communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and management skills**.**

Qualification:

University degree in engineering, business administration, economics, or any related field.
