About Point
POINT was established as NGO by a group of Diaspora humanitarian experts. As an NGO, the co-founders of POINT realized the crucial gaps between providing aid and the need for building the resilience of communities. We believe at POINT that the best solutions to support for the people in crisis should be by a quick transformation from rapid response to resilience method, as this approach within humanitarian operations, is crucial to the first efforts of a community to recover, rise again and start to use their capacity, starting from education and livelihood at the first stages, ending with early recovery and rehabilitation at later stages.
POINT works in many countries closely with civilians like IDPs, Refugees, Returnees, and host communities, In addition to the local initiatives, local NGOs, and INGOs. For that, POINT has organized to hire all needed experts, skills, and tools that are necessary for POINT mandate in resilience and organization development. POINT always seeks to increase its geographical coverage areas in the world to reach the most vulnerable civilian groups and work with them hand in hand for a better sustainable life. POINT is registered in Sweden as a non-profit organization and has missions in Turkey, Iraq, Yemen, and Syria.

Purpose the Position
The field officer is responsible for following up on the daily project activities, following up on training and related papers, in addition to following up on the expansion work of the workshops in the field in coordination with the field project coordinator and the project team, to ensure the achievement of the project’s general objectives in highest quality.
Reporting to: Field Project Coordinator
Main Tasks
- Follow up on the tasks related to the implementation of the project in cooperation and coordination with the field project coordinator.
- Preparing all training requirements, workshops, and field coordination visits, in cooperation with the rest of the project team.
- Work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation team to support monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Coordination with the logistic officer to secure the logistical needs regarding the project.
- Facilitate the training and prepare everything related to it.
- Implementation of follow-up visits to the expansion activities of business owners.
- Coordination with the financial department when needed.
- Executing any other tasks assigned to him by the direct supervisor.
- Adhere to all point organization policies and abide by administrative orders and disciplinary procedures in the event of any violations.
- A pledge to abide by the zero-tolerance policy adopted by the Point organization in cases of sexual exploitation and abuse, and direct reporting in the event of any violation in this regard.
Skills & Experience
- At least two years of experience in humanitarian work in similar tasks, project management experience is preferred.
- Project life cycle experience.
- Highly organized and the ability to characterize and solve problems
- Good knowledge of both Arabic and English, reading and writing
- Familiarity with using Office programs.
- Good knowledge of finances and follow-up on logistics cycles.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
