IMPACT Initiatives

Under the supervision of the Field Coordinator or Senior Assessment Officer, the incumbent is responsible for supporting the REACH team on field coordination, external relations, and assessment activities.

FUNCTIONS

Supervision and coordination of enumerators (data collectors) (35% Level of Effort)

  • Support planning and implementation of assessment activities
  • Support training of enumerators on data collection processes
  • Ensure quality control of data collection processes (tracking, supervision of enumerators)
  • Contribute to assessment and capacity building of field teams

External engagement and representation of REACH (25% Level of Effort)

  • Attend meetings on behalf of REACH with local authorities, NGOs, and United Nations partners
  • Present REACH assessment findings to local stakeholders
  • Facilitate liaison with local and regional authorities with the implementation of REACH capacity building program

Operational coordination of the office (40% Level of Effort)

  • Liaise regularly with the Area Coordinator, logistics, HR, and finance teams to facilitate field FLAT procedures
  • Coordinate and consolidate FLAT requirements for the base for REACH programmes (e.g. movement planning; procurement requirements; payment requests…).
  • Facilitate FLAT documentation flows with the Area and Capital office.
  • Any other activities as requested by the senior assessment officer

REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in social sciences, political sciences, law, research, data analysis or another relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of previous work experience
  • Previous experience with international or local aid organizations is desirable
  • Experience in working with local government authorities is desirable
  • Previous experience in the humanitarian sphere is desirable.
  • Professional fluency in English, Ukrainian (both oral and written).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Flexibility and desire to learn new tools.
  • Strong team player.
