Field MEAL Officer

• Overview:

PAC is an active NGO established in 2012, registered in Turkey, active in NWS, with other small operations offices in both Yemen and Sudan.

In NWS; PAC is a leading organization in both the health and Nutrition sectors through several central programs that work to improve the resilience of crisis-affected communities in NWS.

PAC’s programs always aimed to build and support the active health and nutrition systems in the target areas through maintaining a high level of integration across several sectors and leads central services to facilitate the provision of the service that other actors are running in NWS.

PAC is fully applying for the Protection against sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA) principles in all its work stages, as well, PAC is highly committed to creating a safe service provision environment based on humanitarian principles, and international humanitarian law, clean of any racism. • Position: Field MEAL Officer

• REPORTS TO: Project Manager

• PLACE OF WORK: NW Syria

• LANGUAGE: Arabic, Good in English

• Position Overview:

He/she will be responsible for monitoring and evaluation of all phases of the project, verifying the best implementation

of project activities, doing periodic visits to beneficiaries

Main Responsibility and main support required:

• Carry out periodic visits (daily-weekly) to the project implementation sites and document those visits.
• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from beneficiaries.
• Participate in needs assessment surveys conducted by the organization during the project implementation period.
• Ensure that the collected data is sent accurately without errors or mis-data.
• Ensure that project outputs and results are tracked regularly and that the results are shared with management.
• Send weekly and monthly reports in an organized and good manner.
• Any other tasks that fit into the job position.

Qualifications:

• Two years of experience in humanitarian work.
• University degree or related intermediate institute
• Two years of experience in monitoring, evaluation and data collection
• Good level of Computer Work: Software (Excel, Data Management)
• good communication with the local community and displaced people.
• Ability to work under pressure.
