The field MEAL Officer is responsible basically for following up on project activities in the field, conducting MEAL activities, and collecting and ensuring the quality of Means of Verifications.

Tasks and Responsibilities.

•Represent MEAL Department in the field •Support MEAL Coordinator in the planning and implementing of MEAL activities •Following up on the implementation of project activities and working closely with program staff.

•Managing data collection activities for Need assessments (KII, FGD, Survey)

•Supporting MEAL officers in questionnaire designing and coding in data collection platforms

•Supervise the registration of beneficiaries and verify the collected information

•Upload the collected records on the KOBO platform

•Conducting on-site spot-check visits for training.

•Conducting satisfaction and feedback survey.

•Preparing Training monitoring reports

•Following up on the attendance sheets and ensuring the quality of activities documents

•Conducting Distribution monitoring and Post-Distribution monitoring.

•Collect and archive means of verifications documents and sharing with HQ MEAL officer

•Preparing daily, and weekly progress reports•Preparing monthly reports and supporting the preparation of the final monitoring report

•Ensuring the accountability against affected people (information sharing, complaint system)

•Insuring that the complaint system is functioning and activities and ensuring that all beneficiaries are able and aware of the complaint channels.

•Collect complaints and send them to the complaint officer

•Preparing and sending Red Flags Reports.

•Any other relevant tasks.

Experience and Qualifications Required

•Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Information Management, business management, finance, or other relevant academic backgrounds (essential).

•1 to 3 years of Monitoring and Evaluation experience (essential).•Capacity to produce high-quality briefs and reports in Arabic or English.

Skills

•Good level of proficiency in Microsoft office package (Word, Excel)

•Ability to use Excel Proficiently, and conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses

•Ability to design M&E tools, surveys, surveillance systems, and evaluations

•Skill of Attention to detail

•Demonstrated ability to train and build the capacity of others

•Good communication skills and ability to gain trust

•Ability to speak and write in English and Arabic well
