The Opportunity

Do you love to work independently but enjoy being a strong team player? Are you results driven and have proven record of investigating and settling both property and casualty insurance claims with the highest level of client service?

In This Role You’ll

Investigate commercial lines and personal lines property and casualty insurance claims with insureds, third parties and other related parties in order to obtain facts and information

Review facts, policy coverages, expert reports and case law to make decisions on coverage, claim value and settlement

Manage and direct Restoration Contractors to ensure best practices are being followed for property restoration, and that costs are in line with work required

Responsible for data accuracy, issuance of payments to insureds, vendors and other related parties to a claim

Manage and direct other claim related experts such as Engineers and Legal Counsel

Responsible for providing exemplary client service and keeping all related parties informed of the claims process and status

Here’s What You Bring

8+ years of multi-line adjusting experience, with 5+ years of field work in property claims adjudication

Insurance Broker Level 2 license and/ or CIP designation

Valid Driver’s License

Community College or University Degree

Strong background in both commercial and personal property insurance

Ability to work independently in a high pressure environment

Effective written and verbal communication abilities

Good knowledge of building construction and restoration practices

Computer proficiency with an ability to adapt easily to new computer programs
