Due to agency growth we are looking to hire an experienced and dynamic Junior Account Manager. A natural multitasker, you are a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work collaboratively alongside our other agency divisions. This role offers the opportunity to work on global fashion and lifestyle accounts, helping to devise and deliver stand out PR campaigns for our roster of clients. Demonstrating initiative and a desire to be part of an energetic team, you must have proven media press contacts. With brand placement at the heart of this role, you will be adept at securing those brand and news stories with consistent product and editorial placement across print and online.
Managing a direct report, you are a team player, and will work closely with the PR and digital division to exceed KPIs and client deliverables. Creating seamless, 360 campaigns to support your client launches, you will manage internal and external resources in the achievement of the above. The successful applicant must show strong creativity and the ability to think ‘out of the box’.
Minimum 4 years’ agency and/ or in-house experience is essential. The JAM is responsible for supporting the Senior Account Manager and Directors on the day to day running of dedicated roster of clients, driving and generating press coverage, both online and print, reaching out and securing strong and consistent media product and news placement you are a strong copywriter with a creative flair and vision. Management and support of Account Executive and Junior Account Executive.
Key Responsibilities
Consistently and pro-actively identifying new media opportunities for your clients
Generating news and product placement in appropriate titles and effectively cross-selling clients
Implementation of strategic PR and digital media plans including support on high impact, media events
Supporting on media partnerships and digital events for your brands
Management of critical paths/yearly plans for your dedicated clients ensuring up to date and fully actioned
Proactive and strategic pitching of client news and features with proven results
Effective press release writing in line with relevant client tone of voice
Support on client partnerships and cross pollination, managing and supporting on these partnerships from inception through to launch
Ability to work across multiple events in a clear and concise manner
Nurturing press and media contacts for the agency through regular meetings and appointments
Support on a broad range of product launch events from small intimate breakfasts through to large scale events and press trips across both print and digital influencers
Client facing, attendance of client meetings, ensuring meeting minutes and agendas are actioned in a timely manner
Guide and support junior team members through their day to day tasks
Strong competitor awareness
Requirements
4 years’ minimum agency and/ or in-house experience
Product placement and feature campaigns experience
Event planning and implementation experience
Ability to be creative with PR & digital campaigns and their implementation
Strong knowledge of the fashion & lifestyle industry across print and digital realms
Strong contacts with print and online editors
Ability to creatively & strategically implement PR campaigns
Possess excellent team skills: can report up to manager effectively and be relied upon to drive initiatives
Ability to work effectively to numerous deadlines
Experience in managing and compiling client reports
Efficient, organised with excellent time management skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Understands client needs
Delivers on time and on target
An ideas person, you must be able to think ‘outside of the box’ and bring a sense of energy and creativity to the agency and your roster of clients
