We are committed to delivering the best service possible to children and young people with SEND and their families and want to work closely with our educational settings to ensure special educational needs and disabilities are well supported.

About The Role

In order to progress to a more holistic and integrated way of working, we have established a multi-disciplinary, 0-25 years, SEND Advisory Service. You will work closely with PVI settings, helping and training them to identify and support children who may have special educational needs or disabilities and support parents/carers to better understand their child’s needs and behaviours.

About You

Alongside a Level 3 qualification in childcare, candidates will have experience of working with children with special educational needs and experience of working in partnership with parents/carers in order to meet the needs of their child.

Knowledge of child development and a thorough understanding of current SEND and equalities legislation is also essential.
