As an Expertise & Innovation Specialist for 55’s New York office, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of delivery done by our consultants for the data-led engagements to variety of clients. These engagements will be driven by client objectives related to data collection, customer acquisition, onsite conversion optimization, media-mix optimization and digital strategy. During these engagements, you will be the trusted expert in and out of the room, making sure the methodology followed is sound and the technology involved is used to its full potential. When required, you will be client-facing and lead the delivery of a technical topic.

You will report to an E&I Manager and work closely with Consulting and Engineering teams, ensuring the seamless integration of their operations. You will validate technical deliverables to internal and external stakeholders. To do this effectively, you need to have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of web analytics, adtech and martech. You understand the forces which make these tools tick; what is required for them to function, and what’s needed for them to excel. You have an idea about the opportunities enabled by Cloud technologies with regards to Marketing and Analytics and have the desire to work on ground-breaking integrations between these to enable game-changing activations for your clients.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Consulting team in their day-to-day delivery, by ensuring the technical integrity of these deliverables and answering questions demanding the technical expertise of an E&I Analyst
  • Be the link between Engineering and Consulting teams in projects which require their collaboration
  • Research and distribute new industry information
  • Experiment with new technologies and help 55 offers evolve
  • Solve the technical challenges with hands-on involvement when required, whether it’s about implementing a complex JavaScript code for personalization, coming up with the SQL query for an advanced analysis or building a Jupyter notebook to run an ML algorithm on a dataset to create customer segments for activation
  • Occasional travel possible within the US

Education and Experience Required

  • Undergraduate degree in data, analytics, related area (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3-5 years of experience in web analytics, adtech & martech implementation design and deployment, with hands-on tag management skills
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: conversion rate optimization, performance marketing, attribution modelling, visitor/customer Segmentation
  • Have a permanent right to work in the US (we do not sponsor work visas)
  • Experience in Cloud-based development projects is a plus
  • Experience in statistical analysis and machine learning is a plus
