Expert Mobile Device & Application Management*

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of two years. At the end of the initial two-year contractual period, there are good prospects for conversion from a fixed-term to an open-ended employment contract. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.

In order to proactively support these changes, we are searching for an Expert Mobile Device & Application Management in our IT Unit at headquarters.

Your responsibilities

• You develop the strategy for an organization-wide mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM).

• You conceptualize application areas and user groups, as well as applications and their integration into a planned IT infrastructure with corresponding workflows to implement the MDM and MAM strategy.

• We count on you when it comes to defining the application architecture and designing mobile applications according to predefined requirements and criteria.

• The technical support and consulting of the MDM and MAM architecture would also be part of your work package as well as the setup and operation of MDM and MAM endpoint solutions.

• You are involved in the planning and implementation of projects in close cooperation with higher-level stakeholders such as Welthungerhilfe’s Executive Managemtn and our Country Offices with regard to MDM and MAM – this will also involve the independent planning and implementation of training courses in Germany and abroad.

• You will support international project teams in the selection and introduction of digital solutions and tools and thus shape the image of the organization at various touchpoints, both internally and externally.

• To ensure that we always know we are on the right track, it would be important that you establish an inherent control tool to achieve the strategic MDM and MAM goals.

• We are the point of contact for interested employees and teams and you advise them on all questions related to MDM and MAM.

Your profile

• You have a successfully completed university/polytechnic degree or a completed training with relevant specialized knowledge and experience in the field of mobile device & application management.

• You have an excellent sense for digital trends and their impact on our organization and are particularly interested in the topics of data protection and data security.

• You see yourself as a tackler with enthusiasm for digital change and it would be great if you have also knowledge of agile methods.

• You enjoy working with very different people and teams and always communicate constructively in a goal- and service-oriented manner.

• You are looking forward to working in an intercultural environment and can enrich our motivated team with your expertise, energy and humor.

• You are able to spontaneously and flexibly familiarize yourself with new work fields and situations and have a very independent working style.

• We expect you to have very good Office 365 as well as excellent spoken and written German and English skills – our international team is working mostly in English. French language skills are considered as an advantage.
