Expert internal and international Communications

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an unlimited contract duration. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.

You are a Communications professional with a strategic vision to coordinate internal and international communications? Do you inspire employees from 91 nations to share information professionally and communicate external messages successfully together? If so, we are looking for you to join our internal and international communications team!

Your responsibilities

• Strategic further development of internal communication and Welthungerhilfe’s intranet (O365 / MS Teams and other formats)
• Regular staff training on internal communication topics
• Strategic development of international communication in close consultation with our country offices in the Global South
• Advising and supporting our country offices in developing and establishing their own communication channels and online communication
• Developing training concepts in the field of communication for our country offices, also with a view to providing stories from the projects for marketing and communication work
• Representing Welthungerhilfe in the Alliance2015 and in other alliances as required
• Collaboration in our novel newsroom

Your profile

• A university or college degree or adequate professional training relevant to the position
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally experience in development cooperation and/or humanitarian aid organizations
• High affinity for digital and social media
• Willingness and ability to work in an intercultural and multinational environment
• Strong communication skills, including a confident writing style in the languages relevant to the role
• Excellent written and spoken German and English language skills; knowledge of French is a great advantage
