Request for Proposals (RFP) Expert for MRD Strategic Workshop and Strategic Plan Development

1. Introduction:

Mari Research and Development (MRD) invites qualified consultants and experts to submit proposals for facilitating a two-day strategic workshop and formulating a three-year strategic plan for the organization. This RFP outlines the scope of work, requirements, and evaluation criteria for interested individuals or firms.

2. Background:

MRD is a non-governmental humanitarian organization dedicated to promoting justice, equality, and human rights in diverse societies. MRD was established in 2018 and is registered in Canada, France, and Erbil. MRD’s mission is to make human rights the primary drivers of cohesive and tolerant societies.

3. Scope of Work:

The selected expert will be responsible for:

Facilitating a Two-Day Strategic Workshop:

  • Design and conduct a two-day strategic workshop for MRD’s team. The workshop may be conducted in Gaziantep or remotely, based on mutual agreement.
  • Develop a detailed workshop agenda, including interactive sessions, discussions, and activities.
  • Collaborate with MRD’s team to ensure that the workshop addresses MRD’s specific goals and objectives.

Formulating a Three-Year Strategic Plan:

  • Based on the outcomes of the strategic workshop, formulate a comprehensive three-year strategic plan for MRD.
  • The strategic plan should include clear objectives, key performance indicators, timelines, and a roadmap for implementation.

4. Deliverables:

The consultant and expert should deliver the following:

  • Workshop agenda and materials.
  • A summary report of the strategic workshop’s outcomes.
  • A three-year strategic plan for MRD, including all necessary documentation and an executive summary.

5. Proposal Submission:

6. Evaluation Criteria:

Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Experience and expertise in facilitating strategic workshops and developing strategic plans for non-governmental organizations.

  • Methodology and approach for conducting the workshop and formulating the strategic plan.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in strategic planning for non-governmental organizations.
  • Cost-effectiveness.

MRD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received without assigning any reason.
