The job holder will be using our electronic system known as JPA to receive, select and conduct audits of random and targetted expense claims submitted by Service Personnel for a wide variety of reasons and values. They will need to think critically and apply policy to each claim to assess evidence and justification and assertain if the claim is valid and legal. Where there have been issues, they may have to recover funds from individuals and robustly justify their actions. They will also be asked to provide guidance and advice to their Chain of Command on such matters.
