Role Description

The role is a salesperson on the Structured Investments & Solutions team within MSWM’s Investment Solutions group. The Structured Investments & Solutions team designs and distributes derivative-based investment and risk management strategies to MSWM clients.

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver structured investment solutions to Financial Advisors (FAs) and end clients
• Maintain relationships with FAs who currently utilize structured investments
• Market structured investment offerings to FAs and assist FAs and clients with developing bespoke solutions
• Educate non-user FAs about the product set and platform
• Build and maintain relationships with Field Management and Business Development Management to raise awareness of the team’s solution set
• Articulate non-structured-investment solutions that the team can help with and have familiarity with other products within Investment Solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Series 7 & 63 or ability to obtain
• Strong, dynamic communication skills; ability to work with various professional across divisions, management, FAs and clients
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, manage time, and meet deadlines
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, sales and trading atmosphere
• Working knowledge of capital markets

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $235,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
