CARE USA

The Executive Director (ED) will oversee the Strategy pillar and report into the IFS AVP. The ED will play a leadership role to transform CARE’s strategy on pursuit of development assistance funding from the USG, and operationalization of the strategy to successfully increase funding. The ED will introduce new systems, process and technologies, including a multi-year bid pipeline, to shift the organization to multi-year planning and budgeting. The ED will oversee data and analytics on USG funding and using data for decision making.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Multi-Year Pipeline Development and Annual Planning of Priority Bids
  • Bid Qualification/Scoping
  • Country Office Capacity Strengthening Strategy for USG funding
  • Data and Analytics

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters Degree in International Development, public health, agriculture, education and/or relevant field
  • 15-20 years of experience in international development demonstrating progressive growth in leadership and team management
  • French or Spanish speaking skills
