Executive Director

Aria Consulting LLC - Aria HR

If you are a fundraising, sales, business development, or nonprofit leader with a passion for fishing, we have an opportunity for you to leverage your core skills to enable you to spend more time outdoors, on the water.

Kent Employment Solutions, in collaboration with Aria HR, is retained to identify an Executive Director for our nonprofit client, CCA OR. This a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys developing and nurturing relationships to do just that for the cause of coastal conservation. Reach out today – [email protected]

Our client, Coastal Conservation Association of Oregon, has ten chapters throughout the state (most within one hour of Portland) and is looking for a new ED to support fundraising through membership banquets and philanthropic giving. The boards and members are avid Anglers who enjoy promoting the sport and protecting the environment and its precious resources. You don’t need a track record in non-profit. If you are captivated to serve and further the mission of CCA, have sales, fundraising, or account management expertise with a proven track record of building long-term relationships and gaining sponsorships, and embrace the goals of CCA we are eager to hear from you.

Why join CCA, OR

  • Position of high visibility in a nonprofit with excellent growth potential across the state
  • Opportunity to tap new markets and advance the conservation initiatives
  • Support of an established and well-reputed national NP Organization
  • Fishing, fishing, and more fishing…hmmm…did we mention fishing already?

Scope

Reporting to the Management Committee, the Executive Director (ED) has overall strategic execution and operational responsibility for CCA OR’s staff, programs, expansion, and implementation of its mission. The ED will initially develop deep knowledge of the field, core programs, operations, and business plans.

  • Actively engage and energize CCA OR volunteers, board members, event committees, alumni, partnering organizations, and supporters.
  • Develop, maintain, and support a strong Board of Directors: serve as a non-voting, ex-officio of each committee, seek and build management committee involvement with strategic direction for ongoing local operations.

  • Identify new chapters, train chapter volunteers, and assist them in arranging, organizing, and publicizing initial chapter meetings and functions.
  • Use external presence and relationships to garner new opportunities.
