Doctors of the World UK is part of the global Médecins du Monde network, which delivers over 300 projects in more than 70 countries through 3,000 volunteers.
Our vision is of a world in which vulnerable people affected by war, natural disasters, disease, hunger, poverty or exclusion get the healthcare they need.
We believe that every person living in the UK has the right to healthcare, and we work to influence public policy and local implementation to reduce health inequalities and ensure access to healthcare for all.
We are currently looking for an Executive Director to lead the work of DOTW UK. The ED will be responsible for driving and operationalising DOTW UK’s strategic objectives, and informing the organisation’s future strategic direction. The Executive Director will also contribute to operational leadership of the Médecins du monde (MDM) international network as a representative of DOTW UK.
In this exciting role, the successful candidate will lead a dynamic team passionate about delivering our UK programmes which support vulnerable groups who have found themselves excluded from healthcare. They will be responsible to and work with our Board of Trustees.
