Here’s where you come in:

As the Evidence, Impact and Research Manager, you will guide the Region and Field Offices, on their research priorities; represent World Vision on research related Regional Technical Working Groups with research partners; and work with Field Offices to generate research interest, ensuring that lessons learned benefit Field Office programs, improve technical branding, influence key donors, and foster better adaptive management. This will involve working closely with the External Engagement and Strategy & Innovation functions in the Region and Field Offices to identify top-priority research themes aligned with their external engagement plans.

Requirements include:

  • Master’s Degree/PhD or equivalent in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Humanitarian Assistance or any related field with a strong emphasis on research methods.
  • At least 5 years of experience in applied research, including research methodology, policy analysis, policy-based development programming, impact evaluation methodology, and qualitative research.
  • Experience in the collation, analysis, and evaluation of field-based raw data.
  • Experience in networking with government/institutional donors, UN agencies, universities, and research institutions.
  • High proficiency in statistical analysis.
  • High proficiency in various statistical data science software programs (e.g., STATA, R, etc.).
