EVENTS & MEDIA INTERN – JAEGER LE COULTRE, NEW YORK- IMMEDIATE START, HYBRID ROLE- THREE DAYS IN OFFICE, TWO DAYS WORK FROM HOME

Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Event and Media temp position will need at least one year experience in Event and Media coordinating local events, tracking media plans, and producing monthly reports and internal presentations.

Areas of Expertise

Events:

  • Assist Marketing Manager in coordination and support of all aspects of event production: vendor scouting and management, item shipment, invitations, menus, etc.)
  • Assistance with collating information and assets for post event reporting: track global and local media placements in relation to event, monitor event on social platforms
  • Monitor competitor market trends
  • Assist Marketing Manager with event loans: availability and selection of pieces, delivery/pick-up
  • Track event loans: PR and Thematic Collections
  • Provide onside event support and other duties assigned by Marketing Manager as necessary
  • Assist with new vendor paperwork
  • Liaise with HQ for specific requests

Media/Trade Marketing:

  • Assist the Marketing Manager with coordination of trade(COOP) media
  • Maintain all insertions in Bumblebee: ensure accuracy and up-to-date
  • Tracking and processing of invoices
  • Monitor and research market trends
  • Assist Marketing Manager with production of assets

Marketing Shoots:

  • Assist Marketing Manager for trade shootings: availability and selection of pieces
  • Organize and follow up shootings: loan agreements, security, schedules, delivery/pick up
  • Compile all the loans on a dedicated spreadsheet

Scheduling:

  • Assist Marketing Manager with organization of all executive travel during main events
  • Organize and follow up guest transportations, book restaurants/hotels, prepare and ship client gifts

Reporting:

  • Conduct benchmark on competitor’s initiatives and best practices
  • Monthly reporting of media and event activations

Operational

  • Support Event and Marketing Manager with ad-hoc/operational day-to-day activities

Goals and objectives

  • Understanding of the media and event mechanisms and stakes
  • Knowledge of the US media environments and key stakeholders
  • Familiarity with the Watchmaking and High Jewelry market in the US

Method of Performance Evaluation

  • Mid-term and final assessment

Expected Salary Range: $33,000 to $50,000

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
