PROSPECTUS

Prospectus is delighted to be working with our client to recruit an Events Co-ordinator who will assist with the co-ordination and administration of multiple community events.

The organisation aims to support the long term future of British Jewry by engaging and developing the entire Jewish Community with a broad range of sporting, educational, social and health and wellbeing activities, whilst promoting Jewish Identity and the centrality of Israel. Each year, through over 250 targeted projects, programmes and events, Maccabi GB reaches over 50,000 people nationally. This is achieved by a dedicated team of professionals based in both London and the North.

The overall purpose of this role is to perform the co-coordinative and administrative functions of an array of projects held by the organisation. You will be working with the community, charities and other stakeholders to ensure the success of events. Through this, you will recruit and encourage charities to partake in events, organise the logistical elements of events and to ensure all donations are logged correctly and donors are thanked. You will also be responsible for ensuring the database is kept up to date.

To be successful as an Events Co-ordinator you will have demonstrable administrative and organisation skills, IT literacy skills and effective written and verbal communication. You will be able to plan and view projects strategically and be confident managing a team in an event setting. You will also have excellent interpersonal skills and have the confidence to speak to a multitude of stakeholders. Comprehensive knowledge of the Jewish community is also essential.

As a specialist Recruitment Practice we are committed to building inclusive and diverse organisations, and welcome applications from all sections of the community. Due to this particular cause, we especially welcome applications from the Jewish community.

In order to apply, simply submit your CV. Should your experience be suitable, we will send you the full job description and arrange for a call to assess your suitability and discuss the role further.
