Events Coordinator (Fundraising)Contract Type: PermanentLocation: Home based.Salary: £22,814 – £23,735 depending on skills and experience + London allowance of £3,600 if applicableWorking Hours: 35 per weekClosing Date: 14 March 2022Interview Date: To be confirmedOffice Location: Flexible location Home Worker or Office-based if available.We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Events Fundraising Coordinator to join our welcoming events team, working within our Memory Walk team. As a team, we deliver the organisation’s flagship event programme, Memory Walk, and our new event series, GLOW. We aim to provide the best possible event experience, to increase sign ups and income, to ultimately support more people affected by dementia.This role will be responsible for supporting on key aspects of both the GLOW and Memory Walk series delivery with specific focus on supporter care, internal and external relationship management, and process support. This will ensure the smooth running of our events, that we are providing the best possible experience for our participants and that income targets are reached.About youWe are looking for an organised, innovative and target driven individual who has experience working in a busy events environment. Supporting on multiple events across the Glow and Memory Walk series, you’ll be able to prioritise your own workload, make quick data-led decisions and problem solve to ensure we maximise our income to increase the impact we have on the lives of people affected by dementia.You will be a great communicator who is comfortable building relationships both internally and externally and is experienced in providing outstanding supporter care with great attention to detail.We are looking for someone who is passionate and enthusiastic to play a key role in the delivery of our growing events, and as part of their development has aspirations to manage some events in the series.Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity.
