Events & Community Intern

As our events & community intern, you will play an important role in creating brand awareness and relationship management with potential clients and alumni.

Lots of events and community engagements are coming up, and we are looking for an organised and detail-oriented intern to help with external and in-house events, as well as support the community manager in managing the relationships with our alumni.

Your Responsibilities

• 40% Managing speaker availability, communication and logistics:
• Managing the promotion planning and content for events marketing
• Ensuring all technical aspects for the event are settled
• Coordinating Growth Tribe representatives to ensure maximum success from all events
• 30% Reaching out to conferences and in house company events:
• Researching conferences and making sure we don’t miss the important ones.
• Reaching out to event organisers and securing speaking gigs
• 30% Community Events:
• Supporting the community manager in coming up with new innovative formats to engage the alumni community
• Support the successful launch and implementation of new community projects/ partnerships

Your Requirements

• You are enrolled in university – preferably in Marketing, Communication or Business
• You want to do an internship of at least 5 months starting in April 2022
• Knowledge of social media channels to promote content
• You’ve gathered some sales experiences in one way or the other
• You easily connect with other persons and don’t shy away from picking up the phone to call complete strangers
• You are based in Amsterdam or you are able to commute
