Events & New Account Manager Leeds LS11 5AD (Hybrid working) Full Time, Permanent Position £28,000 – £30,000 Please Note: Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK GIG Retail is home to a growing team of experienced retail experts, working together to deliver GREAT IDEAS and GREAT RESULTS for our clients. We help to drive brand and retailer sales by creating, delivering and evaluating customer-focused campaigns, across a host of retail-focused marketing and sales activity. At GIG Retail we are authentic, brilliant, creative and driven and work closely with the Asda Media Partnerships (AMP) team to ensure their best in class campaigns reflect this. This is a rare opportunity to join the AMP as an Events and New Account Manager. You will have full accountability for managing the end-to-end process of our Merchants Den programme and creating best in class media campaigns to support this new pillar within Asda. This is a varied post with the opportunity to grow within the role. You’ll be involved in everything from co-ordinating all the critical path and RACI timings, engaging the internal teams and our key agency partners, along with suppliers & dragons for the pitch day. Duties:

• Working with partners to ensure suppliers are aware of upcoming dates.
• Getting the briefs & supplier guidelines out as per the RACI.
• Organising the pitch day (once every quarter) working with the relevant dragons PA’s to align diaries and book rooms.
• Regular comms with the suppliers, so they are clear on timings and expectations for the day.
• Leasing with the relevant traders & customer planning teams to ensure they are aligned to the nominations from suppliers.

Once we have the successful pitches, you’ll be:

• Organising a kick off session and getting a full brief from the suppliers.
• Engaging key agency partners – CCUK, CPM, GIG, Criteo etc to understand objectives and brainstorm ideas to create innovative media campaigns that showcases all the best that AMP has to offer within the portfolio.
• Working with the Events & New Campaign Manager to ensure we land the campaign 100% right, liaising with our insights team to review campaign performance and our internal AMP marketing team to share key visuals on our AMP marketing platforms – LinkedIn, AMP Website etc. Who are we looking for?
• Ideally experience within an account management role.
• Retail Media experience a preference, but not essential.
• Commercial experience of managing budgets.
• A great communicator that excels at engaging with internal colleagues & agency partners at all levels.
• An organised individual who can keep everyone on track.
• A keen eye for detail and high standards.
• A self-starter excited by the opportunity of delivering best in class campaigns and always striving for improvement.
• Ability to multitask and manage time & priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent power point skills.
