The QEII Centre is central London’s largest dedicated conference and exhibition space. It hosts over 400 events per year from its prime location in the heart of Westminster.

Hospitality partner, Levy UK are looking for an Events Administrator to join the team!

Overall Purpose Of The Role

This is an entry level role for someone who is looking to get into Event Management, looking after internal events across the Centre and general administration.

Prime Objectives of the Role and Responsibilities

  • To respond to incoming catering enquiries (QEII as client) within 24 hours
  • Prepare internal client catering sheet each day, as required
  • Liaise with internal client’s operating departments and any relevant contractors
  • Responsible for all internal client meetings on the day, communicating with Waiting Staff delivering the service
  • Ensure all menus, tent cards and allergen logs are prepared for all daily events the day prior
  • Prepare the venue staff canteen menu and relevant allergen log on a daily basis
  • Liaise with QEII teams to calculate number of QEII staff dining in the venue staff canteen and communicate to Chefs
  • Share responsibility for organising catering for QEII social events held inhouse, for example staff Christmas lunch
  • Monitor all standards of service, particularly food quality
  • Being able to react in situations regarding operational issues
  • Prepare the Weekly Sheets Pack each Monday, and cascade to all relevant managers
  • Schedule weekly H&S Walkround with General Manager and Back of House Manager, record all findings
  • Schedule monthly H&S team meeting, record minutes and cascade to all attending for signature
  • Be Allergen Aware, completing any necessary training to become a QEII Taste Allergen Champion
  • Responsible for administrative tasks such as ordering stationery, reporting faulty office equipment, maintenance of office property
