Project Overview
AESA and PT. TRIPPCONS are implementing the European Union Public Policy and Outreach Partnership (EU POP), a two-year public diplomacy project from the EU Delegation to Indonesia, that aims to deepen the engagement of a multilateral organisation with Indonesian future leaders and relevant stakeholders in key policy areas across five thematic sectors, namely Environment and Climate Change; Higher Education and Research; Political Affairs and Human Rights; Economic Affairs, Trade, and Investment; and Culture and Media.
Roles and Responsibilities: Event & Media Specialist

To assist the Thematic Coordinators and other functions within the EU POP Indonesia in the implementation of activities.
Assist the administrative function in developing Terms of References for third-party supports.
Manage the third-party supports in day-to-day implementation of activities.
To submit data to the M&E Specialist on each of the project activities.
To implement media engagement strategy and maintain positive engagements with relevant media.
To identify relevant media and invite journalists to EU POP activities.
To support the development of Concept Notes by inserting media strategy in the document.
To ensure connectivity between thematic areas, towards a streamlined media engagement strategy.
To implement media monitoring and produce reports to be inserted in the overall project���s performance reports.
Develop internal tools and provide trainings for team members.

Key Selection Criteria

A minimum of a bachelor���s degree or four years of relevant work experience.
Demonstrated experience in designing and managing public events.
At least 3 years��� experience in event management and media relations.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Skilled in media relations and have a sound understanding of the media landscape in Indonesia.
Strong writing and speaking skills in English and Indonesian.
