Europe Regional Representative

Norwegian Red Cross seeks a new Regional Representative based in Oslo, Norway.

The position will lead strategic management and development of Norwegian Red Cross’ Europe portfolio and Europe team.

Main responsibilities

• Secure implementation of the international strategy in the region, by establishing and following up strategic direction through regional frameworks and annual plans.
• Ensure efficient leadership and promote optimal use of resources by ensuring purposeful collaboration within the regional team, and headquarters
• Oversee strategic relationship management with Red Cross Red Crescent Movement, donors and external partners.

Experience and skills

• University Degree
• Successful management experience from humanitarian contexts
• Advanced understanding of Red Cross Red Crescent Movement an asset
• Excellent networking and drafting skills.
• Fluency in English. Working knowledge of Russian and Norwegian is an asset
