About ERIM
ERIM (formerly known as IREX Europe) is a not-for-profit organisation based in Lyon, France. We provide innovative projects to promote human rights and strengthen independent media and civil society. The ERIM approach emphasises partnerships with local development organisations to bring about change through training, partnerships, education, research and sub-granting schemes.
We are looking for a consultant to help us implement a project in the Eastern Partnership and support the project team on Monitoring and Evaluation, communication as well as networking activities.
The Role
The contract will last until the 31st of May 2024. The consultancy contract will be of 2 days per week (8 work day per month), at a rate of 100 EUR per day.
We are looking for a person based in Ukraine and speaking Ukrainian.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and share communication materials about the project
- Taking part and documenting the selection process for grants
- Implementing networking activities for grantees online and in Ukraine
- Conducting monitoring and evaluation visits to beneficiary organisations based in Ukraine (includes travelling to safe regions)
- Taking part in the project coordination and meetings
Person specification:
- At least three years’ experience in project management
- Fluency in Ukrainian and a very good level of English are essential. Knowledge of other languages from the region is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of the current situation in the Eastern Partnership
- A strong network of contacts in the fields of civil society development, human rights promotion and/or media development
- Excellent communication skills
- Pro-active, solutions focused, and able to work independently
- Organised and able to meet deadlines
