Location: UK Flexible (hybrid role working between home and office).
Contract type: 6-month fixed term contract
Hours per week: 35
Salary: £18,654 per annum pro rata (plus £3,344 Inner London Weighting allowance if applicable)

About this opportunity

We are recruiting for an Estates Administrator who will provide a comprehensive administrative support to the Estates department, supporting the Head of Estates and the Estates Surveyors to deliver the estate management of the British Red Cross portfolio. You will provide a customer focused approach to resolving day-to-day service queries and escalations to support operational delivery as well as ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and communicated to stakeholders.
Reporting to the Head of Estates, you will support the Property team to process for approval and payment all business rates & council tax demands and maintain the Estates team document library, ensuring accurate version control.
You will be the first point of contact for suppliers and stakeholders of the Estates Department, responding to communications in a timely manner and providing high levels of customer care at all times, either by finding suitable solutions or escalating as required.

This role might be for you if…

  • You’re an enthusiastic customer focused administrator with experience of dealing with a high volume of calls and communications.
  • You can demonstrate meticulous attention to detail along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You have previous experience working in an administration environment and can work with minimum supervision.
  • Ideally you will have worked within a finance or property administration team and have experience with property management software solutions.
