YOUR ROLE

As Operational Care Intern, you will be the support for several operational and administrative tasks to assure we deliver the best customer experience and operational excellence. The OCC department is responsible to insert all the data in the system in an accurate and timely fashion, taking actions to provide visibility of the status and atecipating information, deviations and solutions to the Customer Care Specialist (CCL) guaranteeing no delays due to missing or incorrect information. Accomplishment and improvement of all operational KPIs.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assure all the necessary information from CCL is available to start the shipment 

  • Analyze customer’s requirements and look for the best operational options to meet/exceed their needs
  • Inform CCL immediately if the “customer promise” will change or is at risk. – Handle Import or export tasks within our operational system in a timely and accurate fashion. Guarantee we don’t have overdue tasks. Some tasks for example: pick up, booking, delivery, creating documents (HAWB, MAWB, IATA), system status update, etc.
  • Upload documents in Airlog
  • Coordinate activities together with the warehouse and trucking companies (delivery, pickup and shipment’s receipt and departures from warehouse). Also, the correct documentation flow following warehouse processes and all system status requirements (status 0500/1000/2300, 3000)
  • Contact customs department when it is under KN responsibility. Ensure a correct flow of all necessary actions among areas.
  • Cooperate with several departments and other key stakeholders within the company.
  • It is expected from you that all interaction among teams that you proposed are documented with the creation of SOPs or Working Instructions.
  • Proactively follow up on shipments (tracking & recording milestones), both import and export and anticipate on potential problems, and you inform the client (external and CCL) accordingly, providing a daily follow-up regardless there is a status expected to happen mainly focussed on shipments without bonded transfer and special treatments.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Student of ADM, IR, Foreign trade, Economy or compatible
  • Office pack (excel, word, PowerPoint)
  • Intermediate English skills
