  1. Background

Welthungerhilfe (hereafter: WHH) is a German private, non-profit-making, politically independent and

nondenominational relief organization, which supports people living in deprivation and poverty,

irrespective of the color of their skin, their religious beliefs or their worldview. WHH is working in the

fields of development cooperation and humanitarian aid, relief aid, rehabilitation and reconstruction.

WHH implements the project- IQ 1032-20 Strengthening food security of women and vulnerable IDPs,

returnees, refugees and HCs in Ninewa and Salah Al-Din, in the framework of the wider Welthungerhilfe

programme. The purpose of the project is to support the returnee and vulnerable members of host

communities, have developed sustainable livelihoods and improved self-help capabilities by rebuilding

agricultural systems using resource conserving technique.

 

  1. Description of Responsibilities of enumerators
  • The enumerators are expected to carry out the following tasks and generate the below deliverable
  • in accordance with the relevant guidelines provided by the management of WHH and the close
  • collaboration with WHH field staff:
  • Participate in one-day enumerator training.
  • Conduct baseline assessment in Tikrit, Baiji & their villages.
  • Any other related assessments/ distribution/ survey.
  • Doing data entry.
  • Enumerator may be asked to carry out other duties requested by the supervisor.

 Qualifications:

  1. Qualifications required:
  • High school Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or relevant educational background.
  • Previous experience with an NGO and/or institution in relevant field of work is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Arabic, good in English.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Open minded, and ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
  • Committed, honest, friendly, and eager to learn.
  • Applicants should be from Salah Al Din districts.
