JOB PURPOSE:

The Enterprise Architect role unites Information and Technology with the Amnesty International movement strategy around capabilities, systems, goals, policies, procedures, and roadmaps. The role enables the movement to work effectively and achieve its strategic objectives by developing supporting strategies, architectures and processes. The role is expected to also influence senior stakeholders on IT strategy, finding initiatives and solutions that future- proof the organisation, managing both positive and negative disruption appropriately.

ABOUT YOU:

You are an enthusiastic, and strategic I&T professional with a growth mindset and comfortable working at all levels across the technology landscape and in any business stakeholder arena. You will know how technology can enable or multiply capability for an organisation and how to align organisational capability to technology capability for best effect – outlining and gaining the consensus on the strategic and tactical roadmaps for future investment and change.

You may not have all of the listed experience attributes, yet. However if you at a minimum have the right foundations, a progressive attitude and a point to prove with regard to your ability to step up and make a difference through this role within the worlds largest Human Rights Organisation, then we want to hear from you too!

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Uniting I&T with organizational strategy around capabilities, systems, goals, policies, procedures, and roadmaps.
  • Work with I&T and organisation stakeholders to develop and maintain an organisation-wide strategies, architectures and associated roadmaps (Capability, Information, Application, Technology etc.).
  • Establish and run an organisation-wide Architecture Steering Group.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experienced with user-centric, capability-based planning
  • Experienced within Solution Design & Architecture concepts and approaches with a wide range of diverse technologies (predominantly Microsoft-based at core)
  • Proven track record of driving and leading architectural projects through to completion throughout a business
  • Effective oral, written and presentation communication skills to Exec. level.
