Description (External / Internal)
Experienced IGBT engineer, who will be responsible to new IGBT technology development.
Performance Objectives:
- Design of new IGBT device based on the simulation works
- Analyze IGBT technology and trends
- Creating new IGBT device concepts and realizing next generation IGBTs
- Conducting basic research and feasibility study for next generation devices
- Technical support for issues in production
- Meet product demands from business unit
- Close collaboration with IGBT engineers in Korea and outside as well.
- Close co-working with foundry partners (i.e UPD and PA team) and business unit
- Major in electrical/electronic or material science (M.S preferred)
- Over 5 years’ experience in device developmnet
- Understanding of semiconductor fabrication process and device physics
- Familiarity with device/process simulation
- Knowledge of power electronics
- Strong communication skills in English
