Description
The Scanner group deals with R&D and manufacturing of state-of-the-art devices for Innoviz’s revolutionary Lidar systems for the emerging autonomous Vehicles industry
- Conduct and participate in the scanner design
- Designing opto-mechanical lab set-ups
- Assembly of scanners prototypes and systems, including documentation and visual inspection
- Supporting production and failure analysis
- Perform characterization tests in the lab
- Develop automated measurement setups
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary R&D teams
Requirements
- M.Sc./B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering student , or an equivalent field
- Experience working with CAD tools – at least 3 years
- Hands-on experience in the assembly of mechanical systems
- Multidisciplinary Theoretical & Experimental capabilities Mech. Eng., Elect. Eng., Electro-optics
- Capable and experienced in scientific computer programming (Python, MATLAB)
- Independent and self-managed
- Strong analytic and communication skills, teamwork, flexibility, and ability to work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment
