Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence, division is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern at our North Kingstown, RI location. Our interns play an integral role in the success of Hexagon and gain comprehensive insight into the exciting world of Metrology.

Description:
We are looking for an undergraduate internship candidate with a background in Mechanical, Electrical or System engineering with a strong interest in cross-disciplinary applications.
Responsibilities:
- Configuration of Coordinate Measuring System and electro-mechanical configurations
- Programming in measurement host software
- Troubleshooting and diagnostics of complete systems
- Integration of new products into existing systems
Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in a Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or other technical degree program and in good academic standing
- Self-starting/Enthusiastic to learn
- Interest in multi-disciplinary work and experience
- Interest in hands on work
- Experience with metrology equipment or software a plus
- Experience configuring complex electrical or mechanical systems a plus
- Preferred discipline of electrical, system or mechanical, though other engineering disciplines will be considered if exceptional and display strong interest in our field
- Ability to work Monday- Friday, 40 hours per week during the summer break
