End User Compute Technical Analyst

Asda are recruiting for an Operations Technical Analyst to be based in George House in Lutterworth. You’ll be responsible for first and second line support of IT infrastructure hardware and systems and you’ll also have the opportunity to partake in various technical and service improvement projects.

We are looking or an individual with a good background in first and second line support along with previous experience of Windows, Active Directory and some basic Networking skills.

We are fully committed to ensure that you receive all the relevant training to develop you further including external Windows 10 training if required.

What You Will Be Responsible For

To provide 1st, and 2nd line technical support queries professionally and efficiently, maintaining a high level of customer service

Prioritise workload and ensure that current targets are achieved.

Liaise with suppliers and wider teams to see incidents through to resolution

Respond to alerts and ensure that remedial actions are identified and executed

Communicate impacting issues to line managers

Understand product roadmaps and work with vendors to plan upgrades and remediation’s

Identify common causes of incidents / Service Requests and make line managers aware

Support Executive Colleagues and their Representatives on all Technology related queries.

Support the use of technology during meetings, conferences and announcements

Participate in developing self-help guides for colleagues and conducting on-site training for super users

About You

You will need a background in 1st and 2nd line support along with previous experience in Windows, Active Directory and basic Networking experience. The following is highly desirable: SCCM, ServiceNow, Group Policies, Mobile Device Management, Windows 10, Imaging and Deployment.
