Job Description And Duties

We are seeking a flexible individual that is self-driven, creative, and customer focused to assist customers and work cooperatively with local partners in the America’s Job Center of California (AJCC). You would promote the Employment Development Department (EDD) and Workforce Services (WS) programs and/or services through the delivery method of self-service, facilitated self-help and staff assisted services by providing employment services to job seekers and employers.
The Workforce Services Branch (WSB) is soliciting candidates to apply for an Employment Program Representative (EPR) position in the Rio Hondo/Santa Fe Springs AJCC. EPR will promote the EDD and WS programs and/or services through the delivery method of self-service, facilitated self-help and staff assisted services by providing employment services to job seekers and employers. The WSB offers more comprehensive services based on the ever-changing needs of California’s diverse population of job seekers in order to help them successfully navigate back into the workforce. This position is an IN-PERSON position within the AJCC. Limited telework may be available based on business and office needs.

Travel may be required within the Los Angeles Coastal Workforce Services Division.

Per the Governor’s Office of California, the Employment Development Department is considered an essential department. This position requires local in-person workload, though some telework may be available. This position’s office follows the recommended safety guidance from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and the Center of Disease Control (CDC).
