Scope: The Employment Coordinator will provide staff support, lead staff onboarding and training, and maintain case file compliance according to Matching Grant and RSS guidelines. The Employment Coordinator will also be knowledgeable on employment services to lead case aides and temporary staff as they provide core services to clients. Reports to: Employment Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Audit client files and support employment staff in maintaining program compliance according to state, federal, and HQ guidelines
  • Plan and lead reoccurring staff training related to program guidelines, effective case noting, employment services, and office policies
  • Organize employment team events such as group enrollments, tabling and community events, client outreach, etc.
  • Contribute to quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reporting to funders as well as monitoring
  • Supervise case aide staff including interns, AmeriCorps members, and other transitional staff
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on Matching Grant and RSS program guidelines and communications with HQ program officers
  • Lead the onboarding process and training of new Employment staff members
  • Serve a small mixed case load between Matching Grant and RSS files
  • Lead client mediation meetings as needed
  • Complete all reports within required time frame
  • Participate in all staff meetings and training/development activities
  • Adhere to all IRC policies, procedures and protocols; perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in social work, international relations, or other relevant field
  • Service delivery experience and familiarity with the job market in Dallas; proven record for securing new employers
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; Bi-lingual in a refugee language desirable
  • Cultural sensitivity and good cross cultural communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work as a team member in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Computer literacy required
  • Must have reliable transportation and maintain valid driver’s license and insurance coverage and be able to provide evidence of such to the IRC

Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
